Kayaku Safety Systems Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (referred to as “KMY”) is a newly set up company in Malaysia for manufacturing and sales of automotive safety devices as one of subsidiary companies of Nippon Kayaku Co. Ltd in Japan which was founded in 1916. From the fusion of pyrotechnics, dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals and other fine chemical technologies, Nippon Kayaku has rapidly pioneered numerous new fields of technology. KMY will forecast to meet growing, demand resulting from expanding automobile production in the ASEAN region and India. KMY is located at Sendayan High-Tech Valley (nearby Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan) and will mainly focus on manufacturing airbag inflators which are key component that generates gas pressure to inflate an airbag instantly. Micro Gas Generators for seatbelt pretensioner and also Squibs which are small ignition devices built into inflators and Micro Gas Generators. With the establishment of this company, we will be able to construct a five-point global network comprising Japan (Himeji), Europe (Czech Republic), North America (Mexico), China (Zhejiang Province) and ASEAN region (Malaysia), allowing us to match the globalization of market demands. In view of our ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 certified factory and production lines, we are looking for pioneers or apprentices to join us to build up our successful career and future in Malaysia.
